Braking Point 2:
The "Braking Point" narrative mode returns to F1® 23 with a new and exciting chapter, increasingly full of races and new rivalries.

Konnersport Butler F1 Racing Team
The story focuses on the Konnersport Butler F1® Racing Team, the fictional new team on the grid, and covers the 2022 and 2023 F1® seasons. Rising star Aiden Jackson goes up against bold and arrogant teammate Devon Butler. When one of their futures is threatened by a personal problem, Callie Mayer, Devon's sister and recent F2® champion, comes into play. To bring Callie's story to life, the narrative team turned to British driver Jamie Chadwick and SkySports F1® correspondent Natalie Pinkham. Team manager Casper Akkerman must mediate team dynamics with family dynamics, and the manipulations of Devon and Callie's father (as well as the team's main sponsor, Davidoff Butler). As your point of view switches between characters, the story progresses guided by your choices through gameplay and cinematic cutscenes.

F1® World:
F1® World is the new hub where you will find a series of daily, weekly and seasonal events and content, with a progression system based on Technical Level for a personalized tour of Formula 1®.

New events
Complete new challenges and access competitive single-player races designed to take you through the modes, tracks and experiences of F1® 23. Master different tracks, improve your skills behind the wheel, explore F2® content, participate in events with your supercar and more. Single-user and multiplayer events include various daily, weekly and seasonal events for both solo and multiplayer enthusiasts. From Multiplayer Grand Prix to Race Week Celebrations and Time Trial Challenges, there's something for everyone, every day of the week.

Technical level
Upgrade your F1® World car throughout the season with a new Tech Level-based progression system. Complete challenges, compete online and participate in updated events throughout the season to gain gameplay upgrades and increase your Tech Level, which represents the performance of the F1® World car. As your Technical Level increases, the performance of your car will increase and you will have the opportunity to compete in more challenging events. You will always be able to access events at a level higher than your Technical Level, but the challenge will obviously be more difficult. The best players will be able to exceed the limits allowed by their car's Tech Level, but only up to a certain point.

Upgrades
Earn upgrades and experiment in the garage to customize and develop your F1® World car, making it faster and more powerful as you progress. F1® World upgrades are divided into two categories: spares and team member upgrades. Spare parts improve the performance of your single-seater. Team members can be upgraded through a contract system to gain extra "equipable" items that further improve performance.

Creation
A new crafting system in F1® World allows you to assign resources to projects to craft various upgrades, as well as craft Contracts that you can equip to receive game modifiers, new stickers to collect and add to your Compendium, and more.

Licensing system
A new licensing system promotes clean racing in F1® World and rewards players for driving respectfully.

Revamped ranked multiplayer mode
F1® World introduces the revamped ranked multiplayer mode with a new division-based ranking system, F1® Esports Series and a new achievement system that makes Podium Pass progression more efficient. Play to earn points, rank up from Bronze to Elite with weekly promotions, and win rewards and upgrades that apply to your Skill Level.

Compendium
As you complete the challenges of your F1® World journey, you can remember your progress with the new Compendium, a virtual sticker album celebrating everything to do with Formula 1® past and present. Play, get stickers, stick them in the Compendium and complete pictures to get new prizes and rewards.

Gameplay
New driving model, better racing

For more predictable behavior on the track, new vehicle physics gives F1® cars better traction when braking, accelerating and cornering. Feedback from a real F1® team has been incorporated into the balance adjustments for aerodynamic grip and tire grip, leading to a more realistic feel and smoother ride. With improved engine torque and inertia variations, throttle response is more realistic and easier to adjust.

Precision Drive™ controller technology
Race at the limit with greater control, precision and dexterity thanks to a rewritten controller handling that offers more margin and precision in crucial moments.

Red flags
The new Red Flag feature adds a strategic element to F1® 23 race days.

Race length 35%
The new 35% Race Length option allows for a realistic race strategy and setups where tire wear remains a key factor without having to spend too much time on each race.

New Grand Prix in Las Vegas and Qatar
Test your talents in new Formula 1® destinations, with the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix and Qatar Grand Prix faithfully recreated in F1® 23. Race around the fast Las Vegas street circuit under its signature lights and competes on the Lusail International Circuit a few kilometers from the city of Doha.
